Outstanding Large Turkeytail!
Former Lynn Munger Collection / COA
409: Here is an outstanding hornstone Turkeytail thats nearing six inches at 5 and 3/4 inches long. It was formerly in the the collection of Lynn Munger, the former curator of the Potawatomi Museum and is a fine, thin and well made artifact in awesome condition. It has received a Certificate of Authenticity from Jackson Galleries and is guaranteed to paper with any other major authenticator. This is a choice artifact that was found in Indiana and would fit into the finest of collections.

Rare Translucent GREEN First Stage Abbey
410: This is a (pardon me for using this often misused word,
but it really does apply here)- Awesome -translucent, thin
and finely made beautiful Abbey point that was found in the
Suwannee River. This point is 2 and 1/8" long x 2" wide and is
in it's first stage form with a fine tip and exhibiting a very nice
deep green color. It formerly was in one of most well known and
highly respected in the south and carries a lifetime guarantee of
authenticity. SOLD!
This particular piece is awfully hard to get a good picture of because
it's so glossy it bounces back the light to the camera. It is a deep green material that just glows a moss green when backlit. Below are a couple of pictures of its translucency.
Super Ky. Lost Lake
411: Super nice Kentucky Lost Lake. Here's a very symmetrical and attractive Lost Lake point that's 2 and 7/8" in length. Wonderfully constructed from attractive Fort Payne flint, it has some great bevels and fine flaking. This point carries a Certificate of Authenticity issued by Jackson Galleries and is guaranteed to paper elsewhere by any major authenticator. SOLD
SUPER BEVELED BLADE FROM SOUTH GEORGIA!
412: Extra fine, Large, Beveled Lanceolate Knife from the Flint River, Dougherty County, Georgia. This blade, personal knife or specialized tool is 4 inches in length and has one nice just ever so slightly curved curved blade with a great bevel. it has terrific color and translucency and has been awarded a Certificate of Authenticity by Carlos Tatum of Paleo Enterprises with a grade of 9. This blade may actually be in a category of it's own because I have seen a few others made in exactly this same style (with this one being far and away the best of the group). And while contingently being attributed to the Early Archaic period, in fact It may even be an unnamed Paleo blade. It is made so that it would be easy to haft onto a handle as you can see by the pictures. This beauty was purchased from Kevin Dowdy several years ago.

Fine, Large Ohio Discoidal
414: - Offered here is a very large good looking green hardstone attractive Discoidal. It's 3 1/2 inches across and a full two inches deep (a big one!). Its in supernice eye appealing condition and even has a small depression in the other side. This is a colorful nicely made Discoidal
and larger than most with an very deep indention and a heavy one. It is an Ohio piece (county unknown) and I guarantee it to be 100% authentic

Stunning World Class Translucent Hernando
415: This is a fine rocket ship Hernando with a blazing fire translucence
that is very thin. It was found near Albany, Georgia and shows that amazing red Flint River coloration. This point is a quality example of the type with the squared off basal treatment. It's 1 3/4" inches in length - a quality point at

Absolutely Huge Fort Ancient bone pin / documented
416: If you collect Fort Ancient material, you won't want to miss this
very large bone pin that was found on the Buffalo Site in Putnam County
(southern) W.Va. It's 9 inches longand is a perfect and extremely fine example of its type. It is documented in a certificate of authenticity by
Jackson Galleries of which I will include a copy. It does appear to have
been cracked or perhaps fractured at some point perhaps upon
recovery, however, it is very difficult to see and further, this is a vary,
very solid piece throughout with no apparent deterioration of any kind.

My Favorite Carter Cave Adena of all time!!! A One
in a million piece!
417: Here is the King of all Kings if you ask me, when it comes to Carter Cave Adenas. A large 3 1/8" long, it has color to burn with even a unbelievebably beautiful bullseye to boot! This point was found in Adams County, Ohio and has carries a Jackson Galleries authentication certificate. It was found by Jimmy Castle of Flatwoods, Kentucky, a personal friend of mine many years ago. It is a well made point exhibiting not only the eye pleasing color but is a very thin point as well. This Adena has a long thin stem and also shows some translucency around the edges. The reverse side still shows a bit of the rind of the flint. Here's a choice, high grade Adena with staggering color for SOLD You won't find one finer, perhaps bigger, but not finer.
